Finepharm is currently one of few companies in Poland, which deal in using both biotechnology on industrial scale and industrial usage of biotechnological methods.
We produce active pharmaceutical substances called: ‘active pharmaceutical ingredients’ – in short API, used by pharmaceutical companies for drug production. Our philosophy is production of specific, unique substances that require advanced technologies. The name of the company reflects its activity. The article ‘fine’ has many diminutives in English language, but its proper interpretation is ‘tiny, but unique’. We expect that soon among such definitions like: finechemicals, finebiochemicals given to very specific chemical and biochemical substances, it will be common to use term finepharmaceuticals. Then the name of our company will be interpreted unambiguously.
